Microsoft has added a second "Teams" to Windows 11. This Teams is meant for personal and family communication. The only way to login to that is with a personal Microsoft account. This program is meant as a competitor to Zoom, a replacement for personal Skype, and pushed to everyone to keep people in contact during the pandemic.

The Teams we need for work communication is called Microsoft Teams (work or school). Unfortunately, that is quite confusing--2 programs with a similar icon, named the same thing, that do different things.

If you right-click on the taskbar and choose Taskbar Settings in Windows 11 you will see the "Chat" icon. This is for the personal teams. Turn this off.

Find the Teams for Work or School in your start menu and pin that to the taskbar and start menu.

If you search the start menu for Teams on Windows 11 you will see both. The (work or school) is the correct version.
