Missing printer

We have new copiers that have been installed and the print queue for the closest copier might have changed. If you open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers on your computer, you may find a message like this one that says the print queue is missing:

Remove the print from your machine by opening the printer and choosing Remove.

Add the new device

  1. Open \\muscoprint64 in Explorer.
  2. Find the new printer share by name.
  3. Right click the printer icon and choose Connect.

  1. Windows will connect to the server and attempt to download the driver. You might be prompted for administrative permission to install the driver from the server. Click Yes if you see this prompt.

  1. Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers again and you should now find that printer in your list.

  1. Repeat to install any additional print queues you want.

Set the default printer

  1. By default, Windows will switch your default printer to the last printer you use. If you want to turn this behavior off open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers and disable the option.

  1. Open the printer you want to set as default.
  2. Click Set as default.
